Neutral colours, 90’s chic style was seen on the Proenza Schouler FW24 runway during the New York Fashion Week. Totally different from their last Fashion Week and were here for it. This show is for the minimalism 90’s elegance lovers.
Proenza Schouler FW 2024
Monochrome outfits, tailored coats and big turtlenecks-like cowls were the key essentials. All looked like a dream, from the details to the materials. Tulle fabric was another main component to spot in the outfits. Getting cozy in knitwear matching sets and adding multiple layers.
Both single- and double-breasted coats and blazers were spotted. Leather clothing pieces were also worn including trousers, midi dresses and maxi skirts. The brand also used leather as main material for footwear – strappy kitten heels, loafers and heeled boots.

Clutches were the most important bags on this Proenza Schouler FW24 show. Often matching with the monochrome look. The bags came in different sizes, varying from small ones that just fit the essentials to big bags.
Dove grey, black, ivory and a hint of red were the colours we saw. These are colours we continued to spot during the NY Fashion week at other designers as well. Soft peach, just when Pantone announced this the colour of 2024, was also incorporated on the runway.
Matching sets in monochrome tones, a few with low waistlines, were another important thing to note of what we will see in the Fall Winter 2024 months.

The laid-back elegance that the models walked around with really hinted to the quiet luxury trend going on in the fashion industry. The music really added to the atmosphere. What we will continue to see in beauty realm is neutral long hair and small buns.
