Lip products, one cannot have too many. Lip gloss, lipstick or masks all sound good to me. So let’s talk Lip Products, more specifically my favourites.
I am not a big makeup user however I do love a good lip product. Some of these have been my favourites for years and hence why I decided to write a blog post on it.
Let’s talk all-time favourites
Once you find your lip gloss it will become your go-to for many years to come. That is exactly what happened with me and the Fenty Glow Bomb. It was love on first sight. I first purchased this many years ago in Denmark. I have to rebuy this because it is just so good. The structure is perfect, not to sticky and the little shimmer to it makes it more beautiful. It makes the lips look luscious! This will always be a favourite.
Then a Lip Product that is like lipstick and lipbalm in one is the Charlotte Tilbury Hyaluronic Happikiss. In 2022 while shopping I saw this and I was intrigued. I got the shade Pillow Talk that looks good on anyone! It is super hydrating for the lips. This has a glowy finish to it, like you put on a thin gloss. The packaging is so cute, I am a lover of beautiful packaging. I will definitely rebuy when the time comes there.
Lip talk
For Christmas I got gifted two beautiful lip products. One of them already was a favourite but was taken by surprise when I unwrapped the present. I am talking about the Clinique Almost Black Honey Lipstick. What I love about this product is that it looks good yet different on everyone. Besides that it makes the lips soft, which everyone loves.
On my Christmas list I added the Pillow Talk Matte Revolution Bauble by Charlotte Tilbury. Santa was so good to bring me this and I am so happy with it. It is the mini size but I think I have to purchase the regular size myself. The Lipstick is butter soft when you put it on. I love the look of it paired with lip gloss, especially the Fenty Glow Bomb.
Lip Treatment
Soft lips start of course with lip treatment. If the base is not good the products on it neither will look good. To start I use a lipscrub. For the last 7 years I have been using the one from Lush, so safe to say that it is a real favourite. I use the flavour Mint Julips, which sadly they do not sell anymore.
Another favourite Lip Treatment of mine is the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask. Grapefruit is the flavour I went with. I love the little applicator that it comes with, it gives off fancy vibes. I put it on before I go to sleep and wakeup with super soft lips. Or now with the colder months here I put it on during the day because we do not want dry lips over here. The Lip Mask comes in many flavours, Vanilla and Peppermint are for sure on my wish list!
